This year, 9 lakh 83 thousand 539 students nationwide have applied for admission to classes one to nine. All of them are waiting for the admission lottery.
The opportunity to apply for school admission online was from 12th November to 30th November. In 18 days, 6 lakh 35 thousand 72 students applied for admission to 680 government schools. And 3 lakh 48 thousand 467 applications were submitted for 4 thousand 945 private schools.
This year, there are a total of 11 lakh 16 thousand 389 vacant seats in 5 thousand 625 government and private schools. Based on the number of seats, many seats will remain vacant in private schools even after admission.
Govt School Admission Result 2025 Date
The results of student admissions to classes one to nine in all government schools and private schools up to the metropolitan and district levels will be available on 17 December 2024.
The lottery for admission to government and private schools will be held on Tuesday at the International Mother Language Institute, Dhaka.
Mohammad Aziz Uddin, Deputy Director of the Secondary Wing of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and Member Secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Admissions Committee, said, “The admission lottery will start in the morning. The digital process of the admission lottery will start from 10:30 to 11 am.
“Usually, it takes two to two and a half hours after completing the process. Accordingly, students will get the results around 2 to 2:30 pm.”

Students will be informed about the results via SMS on the mobile phone through which they apply for admission.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has informed that guardians can download and print the government school admission result 2025 by entering the designated website (https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd/) and using their User ID. Headteachers can also download and print the lottery results of their respective schools by logging in with their EIIN and password on that website.

GSA Admission Result 2025 by SMS

Final Admission
