KUET Admission Result 2025 – admission.kuet.ac.bd

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) is one of the oldest and most renowned engineering universities in Bangladesh. Getting admitted to KUET is a dream for many students. Every year, thousands of students participate in the KUET Admission Test. In previous years, KUET conducted the admission process under the engineering cluster system, but this year they are not participating in the cluster. KUET Admission Circular 2025 has already been published separately. At the same time, the roadmap for admission to the undergraduate program has been published. The admission process will be completed according to the published roadmap.

KUET Admission 2024-2025

Students will be admitted to the undergraduate (first year) courses in various faculties of KUET for the academic year 2024-2025. The KUET admission test will be held on January 11, 2025. KUET Admission Circular and detailed prospectus have already been published. According to the notice, the admission process for the academic year 2024-2025 will be completed according to the following schedule:

Eligibility for Application

To apply for KUET Admission 2024-2025, a student must have the following qualifications:

• The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2024 or obtained an ‘A’ Level certificate after November 2023.
• Must have passed the Secondary or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022 with at least GPA 4.00 or equivalent grade.
• Must have obtained at least GPA 4.00 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry separately and at least GPA 3.00 in English in the Higher Secondary/Alim/equivalent examination. However, the total GPA in these four subjects must be at least 18.00 (eighteen). Candidates from foreign education boards must have passed with at least equivalent grades in these subjects in equivalent examinations.
• To be admitted to the Biomedical Engineering department, the concerned candidate must have at least GPA 4.00 in Biology in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
• Must have passed with a minimum ‘B’ grade in at least five subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in the ‘O’ Level examination.
• Must have passed with at least ‘B’ grade separately in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in ‘A’ Level examination.
• To be admitted to the Biomedical Engineering department, one must have passed with at least ‘B’ grade in Biology in the ‘A’ Level examination.
• In the case of candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary/equivalent examination in 2023 from a foreign educational institution, subject to having at least 12 years of study period, they must obtain at least 80% marks or equivalent grade in each of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. The concerned candidate must have obtained an average of at least 70% marks or grade in the Secondary/equivalent examination.
• Eligibility and rules for admission of foreign students should be known from the admission website https://www.kuet.ac.bd/program/internationalstudent.

Application Form

The application form for KUET admission test 2024-2025 has to be filled online. To apply, the following steps need to be followed:

1. First, go to KUET’s admission website (admission.kuet.ac.bd) and fill out the application form.
2. Information like name, address, educational qualification etc. should be filled correctly in the application form.
3. Upload a recent color photograph of the applicant (300 x 350 pixels and maximum 75 KB) and signature (300 x 80 pixels and maximum 20 KB). Photo and signature should be in .jpg format. No writing or attestation can be done on the picture.
4. After filling all the information in the application form, click on “Preview” button to see the filled form with picture and signature on “Preview of Application” page.
5. If any information needs to be corrected, click on “Update” button to edit the information.
6. If all the information on the “Preview of Application” page is correct, click on the “Submit” button to finally submit the application.
7. A “Confirmation” page will appear if the application is submitted correctly.
8. To download the “Receipt of Application” you need to login to the Applicant’s Dashboard.
9. Clicking on “Receipt of Application” will get the PDF version of “Receipt of Application”, which should be printed and saved.

Application Fee Payment

Application fee is 1100/- taka (Group ‘A’) or 1200/- taka (Group ‘B’). Application fee has to be paid online. To pay the application fee, follow these steps:

1100/- (one thousand one hundred) taka (Group ‘A’) or 1200/- (one thousand two hundred) taka (Group ‘B’) as application fee and ancillary service charge (approximately 2%) taka through SSL payment gateway have to be paid.

Special Note: After selecting from the correct applicants, the application fee paid to the applicant who has not been considered eligible to participate in the admission test will be deducted by 250/- (two hundred fifty) taka as a processing fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the concerned applicant within 5 (five) weeks from the date of publication of the list of candidates eligible to participate in the exam.

Money Receipt Collection

If an applicant correctly pays the application fee through SSL payment Gateway, click on the “Applicant’s Login” link on the designated website (admission.kuet.ac.bd) and provide the Application No. and Password to login to the Applicant’s Dashboard.

Then click on “Download Money Receipt” link to download the PDF version of the money receipt and print and save it.

KUET Eligible Candidates List 2025

KUET Eligible List 2025 will be prepared based on the total grade points obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in the Higher Secondary Examination from all the applications.

If the number of candidates is high, the first 20,000 (twenty thousand) candidates from this list will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test.

However, if there are more than one 20,000th candidate, the minimum number of candidates from among the 20,000th candidate will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test based on the grades obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English respectively in the Higher Secondary Examination.

The KUET Eligible Candidates List 2025 will be available on the website of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology on 30 December 2024. The candidate has to know the information about it on their own responsibility.

Download Admit Card

After the publication of the list of names of the candidates eligible to participate in the admission test, an eligible applicant has to collect the Admit Card from the designated website (admission.kuet.ac.bd). KUET Admission Admit card 2025 can be downloaded from January 1, 2025. To download, use the obtained Application No. and Password to login to the Applicant’s Dashboard and after clicking on “Download Admit Card” you will get the PDF version of the Admit Card, which should be printed (color) on A4 size 80 gram offset paper and saved.

It should be noted that no applicant will be allowed to participate in the admission test without the admit card.

Admission Test Marks Distribution

A 3-hour MCQ exam of total 500 marks will be held mainly on the syllabus of Higher Secondary Examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 2024 and on Functional English.

It should be noted that the admission test for 1st year B.Sc. Engineering, BEURP and B.Arch courses will be held on the same question paper. Candidates wishing to be admitted to the B.Arch course will have to participate in a 1-hour 100 marks freehand drawing test in addition to the MCQ test. Seat Plan

Detailed seat plan will be published before the KUET Admission test 2024-2025. Final applicants will be able to know the seat plan from the admission website admission.kuet.ac.bd. Admission test will be held at KUET campus.

Admission Test Result

KUET Admission Result 2025 will be published on 26 January 2025 after the completion of the admission test. Students in the merit list have to fill the subject preference form in due time. The result of subject allocation will be published based on the candidate’s merit and preference in the admission test. Waiting list will be published along with the merit list. Admission test results will be known from the admission website. Also, the selected candidates will be informed about the results through SMS.

Final Admission

Candidates will be finally selected for admission according to merit based on the results of the admission test. Finally selected candidates have to follow the following rules:

1. According to the published list, candidates have to submit the original copies of the following documents to the designated committee on the date fixed by the KUET authorities within the stipulated time:

• Original/Provisional certificate of Secondary or equivalent examination.
• Original grade sheet of Secondary or equivalent examination.
• Original grade sheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
• Original testimonial issued by the head of the educational institution of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
• Original copy of residence certificate for admission in small-ethnic group/reserved seats.
• 4 recently taken passport size and 4 stamp size color photographs.
• Filled form of department preference provided on the day of admission.

2. After verifying the authenticity of the certificates, the university nominated doctor will conduct health check-up of the candidates.
3. If found fit in the health examination, the candidate must submit the required fees within the stipulated time with the approval of the Chairman, Admission Examination Committee and submit the grade sheets and certificates for one year. The said documents can be returned before the expiry of one year only if the admission is canceled.
