The application period starts on November 8, 2024, and continues until November 22, 2024 for Undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The BUP Admission Test is scheduled for 13 and 14 December 2024 per the 2024-2025 session notice.

BUP Admission Circular 2025

The Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is a special public university led by the armed forces, following the motto “EXCELLENCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE.” It focuses on advancing knowledge in national security, technology, and modern science for the country’s human resources development. The admission circular for Bangladesh University of Professionals was released on November 2024, and the admission result will be out on December 18, 2024, after 6.00 pm.

BUP Undergraduate Admission Eligibility

To apply for BUP Admission 2025, follow the required eligibility and qualification for your chosen unit(s). You can apply for one or multiple units if you meet the criteria.

Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS):

• Pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from any discipline/group.
• Science Group candidates need a total GPA of 9.00 with a minimum GPA of 4.50 in each exam.
• Business Studies Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.50, with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• Humanities Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.00 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• General Certificate of Education (GCE) O and A level background candidates must pass a minimum of 05 (five) and 02 (two) subjects, respectively, with a minimum of 26.5 points.

Faculty of Business Studies (FBS):

• Pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from any discipline/group.
• Science Group candidates need a total GPA of 9.00 with a minimum GPA of 4.25 in each exam.
• Business Studies Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.50, with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• Humanities Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.50, with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• General Certificate of Education (GCE) O and A level background candidates must pass a minimum of 05 (five) and 02 (two) subjects, respectively, with a minimum of 26.5 points.

Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS):

• Pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from any discipline/group.
• Science Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.50 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• Business Studies Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.25 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• Humanities Group candidates need a total GPA of 8.25, with a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each exam.
• General Certificate of Education (GCE) O and A level background candidates must pass in a minimum of 05 (five) and 02 (two) subjects, respectively, with a minimum of 26.5 points.

Faculty of Science and Technology (FST):

• Pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from the science discipline/group.
• Science Group candidates need a total GPA of 9.25 with a minimum GPA of 5.00 in each exam.
• General Certificate of Education (GCE) O and A level background candidates must pass a minimum of 05 (five) and 02 (two) subjects, respectively, with a minimum of 26.5 points based on the provided scale.

Candidates must sit for a written test (MCQ) with 80 marks. Students opting for ICE must have mathematics, and those opting for Environmental Science must have biology in HSC as their compulsory or optional (4th subject). Students opting for ICE and Environmental Science must have both mathematics and biology at the HSC level.

BUP Admission Application Instructions

Interested candidates need to apply online. First, fill out the sign-up form to receive the login details. Payment can be made through a preferred card, mobile banking, or internet banking. Follow these steps for the BUP Admission Application:

Payment Instructions:

• Visit the official admission website admission.bup.edu.bd.
• Select your desired program for the bachelor’s program.
• Choose your desired faculty by clicking “Apply.”
• After clicking “Apply,” you will see the program name. Click “Next” for the application form.
• Fill in basic information with your email address (required).
• You will receive an email with a payment ID to pay the application fee.

Payment via bKash:
Go for payment and select the payment option, either bKash or another method.

Important Note:

• Transactions can only be done using a personal bKash account.
• The transaction must be made using the payment option from the bKash menu.
• Use the 10-digit payment ID number in the reference section; no symbols, spaces, or punctuation marks can be used.
• Individuals should always input “1” in the designated section for the counter number.

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Admission Application

• Go to admission.bup.edu.bd.
• Click on the Login Button to sign up with a user ID and password.
• Complete the application form with basic information, subject priority, academic details, guardian information, address, and additional information.
• Upload your photo and signature.
• Click the submit button to complete the application.

Payment Verification:

• Visit http://admission.bup.edu.bd.
• Click on Verify/Complete Payment.
• Verify or complete payment made by other channels or select bKash.
• No verification is required for online payment.
• Verify bKash using TrxID or transaction ID.
• Receive an SMS with your user ID and password after payment verification.

Check the following information periodically by logging in:

a) Verification status.

b) Print the Admit Card (carry it during the admission test).

c) Admission date, time, and seat plan.

d) Result – as per merit position.

BUP Eligible List 2024-2025

The Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) published the Eligible Candidates List 2025 for the Written Exam on 27 November 2024. Only candidates on the shortlist can download the Admit Card by logging in with their Username and Password. To check the BUP Eligible List 2024-2025, visit the official admission website admission.bup.edu.bd or find it below. The list includes Admission Roll Numbers, and applicants’ eligibility can be verified by their email ID, name, and father’s name.

BUP Admit Card 2025

BUP Admit Card 2025 will be available from 5 December 2024 for FASS, FSSS, FBS, FST and MBA. To download the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Admit Card 2024-25:

• Visit admission.bup.edu.bd.
• Go to the Login Option.
• Enter your User ID and Password.
• Complete the Security Check.
• Click the Submit button.
• Download the Admit Card.

If you applied for more than one unit, remember to download a separate admit card for each of the faculty. If you forget your User ID and Password, you can recover them from the “Forgot Password” option in the Login menu.

BUP Seat Plan 2024-2025

The BUP Seat Plan 2024-2025 is out! The Bangladesh University of Professionals has released the seat plan for the upcoming admission tests. You can find the date, details, and seat plan for all faculties on the admission website. The seating plan is usually published a day or two before the admission test for each faculty. If the BUP Seat Plan 2024-2025 is already published, you can get detailed information here in PDF format. The university typically shares the seat location details two or three days before the admission test for any unit.

BUP Admission Test Marks Distribution

The marks distribution and question pattern for the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in 2025 have been released. The admission test will use an OMR system, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The details of mark distribution and question patterns for all faculties are provided below.

BUP Admission Result 2025

Bangladesh University of Professionals Admission Test has been Completed for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Program. The Admission Test 2024-2025 was held on 13 and 14 December 2024 for FSS, FBS, FST and FSSS. After that, the BUP Admission Result 2025 will be released on 18 December 2024.

According to the BUP Admission Circular 2025, the BUP Written Result 2025 will be available through the admission.bup.edu.bd website. It may also be notified to the qualified candidates via SMS.

Candidates who are on the BUP Merit List 2025, will be participated in the Viva-voce. The Viva Voce will be held on the BUP Campus, Dhaka. The Interview Schedule and the BUP Admission Test Result have already been released.

As mentioned, The BUP Waiting List has also been Released along with the Merit List. Based on the Viva-voce, the BUP Final Result 2025 will be Released. Finally, Selected Candidates will be allotted the Department/Subject and they will be completed their Admission.
