HSC Routine 2025
The Education Board of Bangladesh has an unwritten rule. This rule says they should share the schedule for any public exam at least three months before the exam. So, they usually publish the HSC exam schedule in the first week of April.
This year, they released the HSC exam routine for 2025 on February 19, 2025. We have the HSC routine for you here. The HSC Examination 2025 will start on June 26, 2025. Just like last year, there will be two shifts: morning and day. The exams will last for almost two months. After that, practical and viva (oral) exams will take place.

The first exam is the Bangla 1st Paper on June 26 for 11 boards, including Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Dinajpur, Sylhet, and Rajshahi. But the Sylhet Board changed the date.

Instruction for HSC Candidate
These instructions are based on the previous HSC exam routine. We will update them once the new HSC Routine is out this year.
- Students must sit in the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- The MCQ exam comes first.
- After the MCQ exam, students will get the Creative Questions (CQ).
- Students have 30 minutes for the MCQ and 2.5 hours for the CQ.
- There is no break between the MCQ and CQ exams.
Morning Shift Exam Timetable
- At 9:30 AM, students get the OMR Sheet.
- At 10:00 AM, students receive the MCQ Questions.
- At 10:30 AM, the OMR Sheet will be collected, and students get the CQ Questions.
- For 25 Marks MCQ Questions, students have 25 minutes.
Day Shift Timetable
- At 1:30 PM, students get the OMR Sheet.
- At 2:00 PM, students receive the MCQ Question Paper.
- At 2:30 PM, students hand in the MCQ Answer Sheet.
Students must follow the timetable on the Question Paper for the HSC Exam. Each candidate has to get an admit card from their institution. Students need to bring their admit card and registration card to the exam. The practical exam happens separately.
