XI Class Admission Circular 2025
The XI Class admission Process for 2025 describes the rules for admission into XI Class (HSC) for the 2025-2026 academic year. This guideline is applicable to government and private colleges under the education boards of Bangladesh. These boards include Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, and the Madrasah Board. The admission process is centralized and completed online. No admission test is required. Selection is based on the results of the SSC or equivalent examinations. Some colleges, such as Dhaka Notor Dame College, Holy Cross College, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and St. Gregory’s High School, may conduct separate exams.
Who can apply?
Students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examinations can apply. The eligibility conditions are clear. You must meet these conditions:
- You must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- You must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Students from any education board in Bangladesh can apply. This includes general boards, madrasahs, and the open university.
- Each college sets a minimum GPA for admission. The GPA varies by college and group (Science, Humanities, or Business Studies).
- Students from the Bangladesh Open University are also eligible to apply.
- Students from foreign boards must have their certificates’ equivalence determined by the Dhaka Education Board.
Group Selection
Students must select a group during the online application. A student can apply to multiple groups in the same college. Moreover, they can apply to multiple groups in multiple colleges. The conditions for group selection are mentioned below:
- Science group students can choose Science, Humanities, or Business Studies.
- Business Studies group students can choose Business Studies or Humanities.
- Humanities group students can choose Humanities or Business Studies.
First Phase Application
The first phase of applications started on July 30, 2025, and ended on August 11, 2025. Students could apply online through www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. The application fee was 220 Taka. A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges could be selected in one application. The result of the first phase, or the 1st merit list, was published on August 20, 2025. Selected students had to confirm their admission by paying a 335 Taka confirmation fee between the result publication and August 22, 2025. Those who had applied for SSC result re-evaluation had the opportunity to apply between August 13 and August 14, 2025, after their results were revised. Missing the confirmation deadline results in the cancellation of the selection and application.
Second Phase Application
The second phase was for students who were not selected in the first phase. Also, those who did not apply in the first phase could apply in the second phase. This ran from August 23 to August 25, 2025. The application process was the same as the first phase. The 2nd merit list was published on August 28, 2025. Selected students confirmed their admission between August 29 and August 30, 2025. The first migration result was also published on August 28, 2025. Migration allows students to move to a higher-preference college if seats are available. To be eligible for migration, the selection must be confirmed.
Third Phase Application
The third phase was the final round of applications. It took place from August 31 to September 1, 2025. Those who had missed the previous phases or were not selected could apply. The 3rd merit list was published on September 3, 2025. Selected students confirmed their admission between September 3 and September 4, 2025. The second migration result was also published on September 3, 2025. This was the last merit list. After this, the Final Migration Result will be Released on August 5, 2025.
How to apply?
The XI Class admission application is entirely online. No printed admission forms will be provided by any college. The initial application can be made in the three phases mentioned above. - Visit the admission website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
- Register by creating an account using your SSC roll number, registration number, and board.
- Provide personal and academic information.
- Choose a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges. You can choose different shifts, groups, or versions.
- Pay the 150 Taka application fee using mobile banking, online banking, or a card.
- Review the form and submit it.
- Note the application ID (EDU ID) and password for future reference.

How to make the payment?
The Primary application fee must be paid while applying online. The application will not be accepted if the fee is not paid. A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges can be applied for in one application. The application fee is 220 Taka. You can pay through these methods:
- Mobile Banking: Use services like bKash, Nagad, or Rocket.
- Online Banking: Pay through Sonali Seba or other bank portals.
- Debit/Credit Card: Use Visa, MasterCard, or similar cards.
You will receive a confirmation after payment. Keep the transaction ID safe.
Admission Result
Results are published after each of the three application phases. Additionally, a first migration result and a second migration result will be published. No migration will occur after the third phase. The admission results are published on the following dates:
- 1st Merit List: August 20, 2025.
- 2nd Merit List: August 28, 2025.
- 3rd Merit List: September 3, 2025.
Results will be published on the website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. Nominated students will also be informed of the results via SMS. Selected students must confirm their choice within the specified dates by paying a 335 Taka fee online. To check results online, follow these steps:

College Admission
Final admission begins after all merit lists and migration results are published. This takes place from July 15 to July 25, 2024. Selected students must:

- Complete other formalities.
