Application Eligibilities

For DU 7 College admission, students must meet certain requirements. Those who passed SSC in 2021/2020/2019 and HSC in 2023 are eligible to apply. Science students need a total GPA of 7.00, Business Studies students need 6.50, and Humanities students need 6.00 in SSC and HSC combined. Students meeting these criteria can apply for admission to the Dhaka University-affiliated 7 colleges, which offer 22,000 seats. It’s easier to secure admission compared to other universities, and certificates are awarded by Dhaka University. Some students may be ineligible if they don’t meet these GPA requirements.

 Payment Instruction

The fee for each unit is 650tk this year. You can pay this fee using mobile banking services like Bkash or Nagad. If you want to get admitted to one of the seven affiliated colleges under Dhaka University, you need to apply first.

Applicants need to take the admission test at the selected divisional center mentioned during the application. The test center details will be on the Admit Card. The seat plan for Units A, B, and C will be published 48 hours before the admission test. Students can check the seat plan on the admission website collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd or through SMS. Admission Test Result

The DU 7 College Admission Result 2024 for all units has been released on September 15, 2024. This is the 4th Merit List. Previous lists were released on August 28, 2024. The results include the allocation of subjects and colleges for Science, Arts, Social Science, and Business Studies Units. Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Govt. Titumir College, Govt. Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul Govt. College, Begum Badrunnesa Govt. Women’s College, and Govt. Bangla College have published their admission test results together. Selected candidates from A, B, and C units must provide their preference order from July 11 to 24, 2024.

The admission tests for the A-Unit of Science, B-Unit of Arts and Social Science, and C-Unit of Commerce were held on June 17, June 16, and June 24, respectively. The Commerce Unit has 5,310 seats, with 26,440 candidates applying. The Science Unit has 6,500 seats, receiving applications from 41,094 students. The B-Unit for Arts and Social Science has a total of 11,905 seats.

Subject Choice form Fill-up

Choosing Subjects and Colleges for Dhaka University Government Seven College has begun. The form filling process started on July 11, 2024. If you passed the admission test, you can select colleges and subjects on the college admission website (collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd) until July 24, 2024. The final allocation results will be published afterward. You’ll need to fill a detailed form with necessary information when indicating your preferences.

The total seats across Science, Business Studies, and Arts and Social Sciences units in the seven affiliated government colleges amount to 26,160. The Science unit has 6,500 seats, Commerce has 5,310, and Arts and Social Sciences has 14,350 seats.
