The Dhaka University Home Economics Unit includes colleges like Home Economics College in Azimpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh Home Economics College in Green Road, Dhaka, National College of Home Economics in Lalmatia, Dhaka, Mymensingh Home Economics College, Akij College of Homes Economics in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, and Barisal Home Economics College. Only the Home Economics College in Azimpur is government; the others are private.
Home Economics Unit Admission 2023-24
The DU Home Economics Unit Admission Application begins on March 21, 2024. The last day to apply is April 25, 2024. You can download the admit card starting from May 1, 2024. The admission test is on May 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Application Eligibility
To apply for admission to Home Economics Colleges, the student has to pass SSC or equivalent examination from 2020 to 2021. In 2023, the candidate has to pass HSC or equivalent examination from any education board in Bangladesh. Candidates who have passed ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level examinations can also apply.
Candidates should have a minimum total GPA of 5.5 including 4th subject. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 individually.
Home Economics College Admission Form 2024
To apply for admission to the University of Dhaka’s Home Economics Unit, visit the collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd website. The admission form can be filled out from March 21, 2024, to April 25, 2024. Pay the admission test application fee through a bank or mobile banking at the end of the online application. On the website, you can find the admission circular, prospectus, application instructions, payment instructions, and all other necessary information.
Admission Test Mark Distribution
The Home Economics College admission test will use multiple-choice questions (MCQs), lasting for 1 hour and carrying 100 marks with 100 questions.
Questions in the admission test will follow the higher secondary level syllabus. Candidates must take the admission test in both Bengali and English. Additionally, candidates need to participate in the admission test in two elective subjects. There will be a total of 30 admission tests for each subject, and the passing mark is 40. Those scoring below 40 will not be considered for admission.

The Home Economics College Admit Card 2024 is ready to Download. You can get it from the collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd website. Use your SSC and HSC details to log in and download the DU Home Economics Admit Card. It’s available for download from May 1, 2024, to May 10, 2024. Follow these steps:

Home Economics College Admission Result
The Home Economics College Admission Result 2024 is out. The merit list is based on a total of 120 marks. Check the admission test results on the college admission website collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd. You can also get the result by sending an SMS following the Admit Card instructions. Additionally, the Subject Choice Result 2024 for Home Economics College has been published. If you want to review your application after the Admission Result, you can do so by paying Tk.1000. Make sure to fill out the online choice form within the specified date after the merit list is published.

Attend an interview with the printed SIF form and other documents to complete the admission process. The Home Economics College Subject Choice Result will be released on the website before that.
