National University Honours Admission Result 2024

The National University Admission Circular 2024 has been released for the Honours Course. For NU Honours Admission 2023-2024, you can apply through the www.nu.ac.bd/admissions website. Use the admission.nu.ac.bd website to fill out the online application form. Submit the completed form to the designated college.

Admission Qualification

To apply:

• You must have passed SSC or an equivalent exam from the Science, Humanities, Business Studies, or Home Economics group.
• You should have passed SSC or an equivalent exam in the years 2020 or 2021.
• For the Humanities and Business Studies group, you need a minimum GPA of 2.50 in SSC or the equivalent level. For the Science groups, a GPA of 3.00 is required.
• You must have passed HSC or an equivalent exam in the years 2022 or 2023.
• For the Humanities and Business Studies group, a minimum GPA of 2.50 in HSC or the equivalent level is required. For the Science groups, a GPA of 3.00 is necessary.
• For the Humanities and Business Studies Group minimum Total GPA in SSC and HSC Levels should be 6.00 and for the Science Group Minimum Total GPA of 6.50 will be required in SSC and HSC Levels.

NU Honours Admission Form 2024

If you want to apply to the National University, follow these easy steps on their official admission website:

• Visit www.nu.ac.bd/admissions
• Click on “Apply Now (Honours)” under the Honours tab.
• Enter your SSC Roll, SSC Passing Year, SSC Board, HSC Roll, Board, and Passing Year.
• Review your information. If needed, change your gender or correct your date of birth.
• Select your college by choosing Division and District. On the right side, list your subject preferences (up to 15 choices if available).
• Fill in your Quota Information.
• Provide your mobile number, and email (if any), and upload a colored photo (150×120 pixels, within 50KB in JPG format).
• Preview your application and submit it.
• Print out your application and pay the application fees through mobile banking, following the college’s instructions.

Payment Instruction

For admission to the National University Honours in the 2023-24 session, you need to pay several fees. Here are the details of the fees for NU Honours admission in 2023.

• Application fee: 350 Taka for one admission application.
• Registration fee (per student): 450 Taka.
• Sport and culture fee: 20 Taka.
• BNCC fee (Per Student): 5 Taka.
• Rover Scout fees: 10 Taka.
• Total fee: 485 Taka

The total fee for Honours admission is 485 Taka for the 2023-24 session. If you’re applying for National University Honours, you must pay 485 Taka through mobile banking.

Additional Fees

• Admission Fees: 565 taka

If you wish to cancel your Honours admission, you’ll need to pay 700 Taka to the National University authority for final cancellation. If you want to reinstate your Honours admission, the fee is also 700 Taka per student. This covers all the fees for the National University’s Honours course admission in 2022-23.

NU Honours Admission Result 2024

The National University has published the Honours Admission Result 2024. You can check it online or through SMS. This is for the Honours Admission 2nd Merit List 2024. After the first Merit List, the second Merit List will be released. The National University completes the admission process with two Merit List and two release slip merit lists.

Starting from 19 March 2024, candidates can begin the admission process, which will continue until April 2, 2024. Final Admission Form fill-up

After getting a place in the National University Honours Admission Merit List, students in the 2nd Merit List need to fill out the final admission form from 18 April to 28 April 2024. College admission must be completed between 21 April and 29 April 2024.

If admission isn’t done by the deadline, the nomination will be canceled. The final admission form, along with the admission fee, needs to be completed in the prescribed college. To fill out the final admission form, students require their mobile number, their parent’s mobile number, parent’s annual income, permanent address, and current address. Visit admission.nu.edu.bd, log in with your Admission Roll Number and PIN.

If you don’t want to migrate your assigned subject, turn off the migration option while filling the final admission form. If not, the migration process will happen automatically, upgrading the preference order. If you wish to migrate, make sure to turn on the migration option. However, if you get your first choice, migration won’t work because it follows your preference order.

NU Migration Result 2024

The National University published the NU Honours Admission 1st Migration Result 2024 on 18 April 2024. This result includes the quota result. If you want to change your subjects through migration, you should download the subject change form from the website and submit it to the new department. Those who changed subjects need to submit the form between 18 April and 28 April 2024. If your subjects stay the same, no forms are needed. If your subject is changed, the previous subject will be canceled, and admission to the new department will be automatic.

Release Slip Application

The National University has started the Honours Admission Release Slip Application 2024. Students can apply through www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. The application period is from 4 pm on July 13, 2023, to 12 noon on July 23, 2023.

This is for students who:

• Didn’t get a place in the first or second merit list.
• Were not selected in the 1st Release Slip Result.
• Can apply if they are not admitted despite being in the merit list.
• Can apply after being admitted and later canceling the admission.
