The MATS IHT Admission Circular 2024 has been released by the Directorate General of Health Education (DGME). Applications have been invited for the admission of students in various faculties of the four-year Diploma in Medical Technology course in the public-private Institute of Health Technology (IHT). At the same time, the Medical Assistant Training School (MATS) has invited applications for the admission of students to the Diploma in Medical Assistant training course for the academic year 2024-25. Interested students can apply through the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website. Online application starts on 11 June 2024, and the last date for application is 3 July 2024. IHT MATS Available Seats

The total number of seats in 23 IHTs in Bangladesh is 3 thousand 619. The IHTs are- Dhaka, Rajshahi, Bogura, Chattogram, Barishal, Rangpur, Jhenaidah, Sylhet, Sirajgonj, Satkhira, Jamalpur, Tungipara, Gopalgonj, Gazipur, Kashiani Gopalgonj, Joypurhat, Madaripur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Noakhali, Naogaon, Kurigram, Mymensingh, Shibchor Madaripur.  There are 1 thousand 82 seats in 16 mats. The MATSs are – Bagcrhat MATS, Khustia MATS, Noakhali MATS, Sirajgang MATS, Tangail MATS, Cumilla MATS, Faridpur MATS, Jhenaidah MATS, Satkhira MATS, Tungipara MATS, Naogaon MATS, Manikganj MATS, Gazipur MATS, Rajbari MATS, Madaripur MATS, Kazipur Sirajganj MATS.

IHT MATS Admission 2024-2025

The Government MATS IHT Admission 2024-25 program will be completed as per the mentioned Revised schedule.

MATS IHT Application Eligibility

Interested Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 with Biology from Science Group in SSC or an equivalent examination between 2020 and 2024.

Necessary documents

• Candidates who have passed the ‘O’ level or are from abroad must collect a number equalization certificate and ID code from the Director (Medical Education), Directorate of Health Education, Mohakhali, by submitting a pay order of two thousand taka;
• Departmental candidates should collect an ID code from the Director (Medical Education), Directorate of Health Education.

MATS IHT Admission Form 2024-25

1. Access the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website in the internet browser.
2. Click on the IHT/MATS Admission button.
3. Then click on the Application Form section.
4. Select Diploma Course in Institute of Health Technology/Diploma Course in Medical Assistant Training School program.
5. Go to the Next Step.
6. On the next page, select either the National Curriculum (SSC/Equivalent) or GCE (O Level/Equivalent) option in the Curriculum Selection section.
7. Click the Next button and fill out the form with the required information.
8. Submit the application Form.

MATS IHT Fee Payment

After applying online, you have to pay Tk 700 towards the admission test fee through Teletalk prepaid number. Fee payment detail instructions are mentioned in MATS IHT Admission Notice. Also the application fee can be paid as per the instructions on the applicant’s copy. The application fee can be paid through a total of two SMS.

Go to the message option of teletalk prepaid mobile phone and write IHTM, enter User ID with space and send SMS to 16222.

Example: Type IHTM <space> FRLGCT and send to 16222. Here FRLGCT is the User ID obtained by filling the form.

In return, SMS consent will be sought with a password, the name of the candidate, and information to deduct 700 (seven hundred) taka as an admission test fee. To give consent send an SMS as follows to 16222.

MATS IHT Admission Test 2024-25: Subject and Mark Distribution

In order to take part in the admission test, candidates will have to take the MCQ written test of total 100 marks including Bangla 15, English 15, Mathematics 15, Physics 15, Chemistry 15, Biology 15 and general knowledge 10 marks in Bangladesh History and Liberation War. The exam will be of one hour duration.

Merit list will be prepared by multiplying 20 times GPA obtained in SSC or equivalent examination along with admission test result. No viva voce will be conducted.

MATS IHT Admit Card 2024 Download

All the applicants have to attend the Admission test. IHT MATS Admit Card 2024 must be collected to participate in the admission test. MATS IHT Admit Card 2024 can be downloaded from 12 October 2024 to 15 October 2024. The admission test will be held on 18 October 2024. The admit card can be downloaded by logging into the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website. Information regarding the download of the admit card will be provided through SMS on the student’s mobile number. Admission Test Date, Time and Seat Plan will be mentioned on the MATS IHT Admit Card.
