MIST Admission Circular 2025 – admission.mist.ac.bd

Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) has released the Admission Circular 2025. To apply for MIST Admission 2024-25, visit the admission website admission.mist.ac.bd. Bangladeshi citizens who passed HSC/GCE or equivalent examination (Science Group) can apply for MIST’s Undergraduate programs in Engineering and Architecture. Apply online, and after the deadline, the eligible candidates list and admit cards will be published. The admission test will follow the prescribed seat plan. The admission process will be finalized based on the merit and waiting lists after publishing the MIST Admission Result.

There are two units: Unit A (Engineering Programs) and Unit B (Architecture) for the MIST Undergraduate Programs, with a total of 570 seats for both units.

MIST Admission 2024-25 Details

Application Eligibilities

For SSC (or Equivalent): If you passed in 2022 & 2021 in Science Group with at least a GPA of 4.00 (excluding the fourth subject) out of 5.00.

For HSC Examination (or Equivalent): If you passed in 2024 & 2023 with a minimum total Grade Point of 17 in four subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English).

For GCE (‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels or Equivalent):

  • If you passed in 2020 & 2019 with at least a ‘B’ grade in five subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in GCE ‘O’ Level.
  • If you passed in 2021 & 2020 with at least two ‘B’ grades and one ‘C’ grade in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in GCE ‘A’ Level.

For those interested in Biomedical Engineering, Biology at the HSC or Equivalent level is required with a minimum grade point of ‘A-‘/ GCE ‘A’ or Equivalent level with a minimum grade point of ‘C’.

MIST Admission Form

Application Form Submission: To apply, visit the MIST website (mist.teletalk.com.bd) and submit the application online. After submission, you’ll receive a USER ID. Send an SMS to 16222 from a Teletalk pre-paid mobile phone with the required balance, mentioning your USER ID. The application fee is Tk 800 for UNIT A and Tk 1000 for UNIT B and UNIT (A+B). Detailed instructions for e-Application and Fee submission are available on the MIST website. After completing both steps, you’ll receive a password through SMS, allowing you to download the Admit Card.

Required Documents for Quota Applicants

Freedom Fighter:

Provide related Bangladesh Gazettes, temporary certificates from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, LalMuktibarta, Indian List, and a certificate from Bangladesh MuktiJoddha Sangsad along with a relationship certificate with the freedom fighter.

Military Ward (Children of Military Personnel):

Serving: Provide a certificate from the Organization Head or authorized officials.

Retired Officers:

Provide a certificate from CORO, Naval Secretariat, or Air Secretariat.

JCO/ OR/ NC(E) of Army/ Navy/ Air Forces:

Provide a certificate or Service Record Book from the respective Arms/Service’s Record Offices/Drafting Office.

Tribal:

Provide a certificate issued by the local Upazilla Chairman and counter-signed by the District Commissioner.

All quota applicants must submit the original documents (hardcopy) mentioned above to the MIST Admission Office by February 22, 2022, for quota authentication/verification.

Payment Instruction

After you apply successfully, you’ll get a USER ID online. Use that USER ID to send an SMS to 16222 from a Tele-Talk prepaid mobile with enough balance. The application fee is Tk 1000 for UNIT A and Tk 1200 for UNIT B and UNIT (A+B). Detailed instructions for e-Application and Fee submission are on the MIST website. Once both are done, you’ll get a password through SMS. Use this password to download your Admit Card.

MIST Eligible List 2025: Primary Application Result

All Applicants will not be allowed to participate in the Admission Test this year. A certain number of Applicants will be eligible for the MIST Admission Test 2024-2025. The MIST Eligible List will be Prepared based on the candidate’s HSC or Equivalent Examination Result.

The MIST Primary Application Result 2024 will be Released who are eligible for the Admission Test on 10 February 2024. It will be available on the MIST Admission website (mist.ac.bd). Candidates can Download the Eligible list as a PDF. It can also be checked by HSC Information.

Candidates who will be eligible for the Admission Test will be able to Download the Admission Test Admit Card. To Check the Eligibility for the Admission Test, follow the instructions below.

  2. Now go to the Check Eligibility for Admission Test Option.
  3. Provide your User ID.
  4. Click on the Search button.
  5. Check your Eligible List.
  6. If you are eligible for the Admission Test, Download your Admit Card.

MIST Admit Card Download 2025

The list of eligible candidates for the Bangladesh MIST Admission Test 2024–25 has been published. The Admit Card for the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) 2025 is also available. Only candidates on the shortlist can download the admit card. Eligible candidates will receive an SMS notification for the admit card download, and they can then download it.

Candidates need to log in with their user ID and password to download the admit card. The Admit Card contains information about the Admission Test Date, Time, Exam Center Name, and Address.

Ensure that the Admit Card is color-printed on A4-sized paper. Detailed test instructions are provided on the admit card. The Admit Card can be downloaded multiple times until the Admission Test Date.

Marks Distribution

No Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) will be there. Questions will be in both English & Bangla, and applicants can answer in either language. The marks for both units are as follows:

Unit A (Engineering and Architecture):

  • Mathematics: 40
  • Physics: 30
  • Chemistry: 20
  • English: 10

Total Marks: 100

Examination Duration: 2 hours

Unit B (Architecture):

  • Drawing and Architecture-related topics: 100

Total Marks: 100 (Unit A) + 100 (Unit B)

Examination Duration: 2 hours for Unit A, 2 hours for Unit B with a break in-between

No marks are allotted for S.S.C / H.S.C / Equivalent results. The merit list will be based on the Written Test only. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test are 40% for both Unit A and Unit B.

A 5% mark deduction will be applied to candidates who passed HSC in 2021. A Combined Merit List for candidates who passed HSC in 2022 and 2021 will be prepared for admission and department allocation.

Admission will be canceled if any incomplete/false information is found at any stage of the admission/academic process.

Seat Plan

For the Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Admission Test 2025, the seat plan is on the Admit Card. Download the Admit Card to see your Center Name, Seat Location, and Address. Arrive at the Exam Center 45 minutes before the test. The Admit Card includes a map with the Exam Center Location. No extra seat plans will be released for the Admission Test.

MIST Admission Result 2025

The MIST Admission Result 2025 has been released today. It was published on March 3, 2024, on the admission mist ac bd result 2025 website. The MIST merit list and waiting list for the Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test are now available. Separate lists for general quotas, military ward quotas, freedom fighter quotas, and tribal quotas have been published. In the General Quota, 357 candidates are selected, 248 from the Military Ward Quota, 12 from the Freedom Fighter Quota, and 3 from the Tribal Category for the Engineering Program in MIST Admission Result 2025. The MIST 2nd Merit List and Waiting List 2025 were published on March 16, 2024.

Admission from the waiting list will take place after completing the admission from the merit list. The selected students need to complete their admission within the given time frame.

Candidates from the selected lists 1 and 2 are called for MIST Admission from 10 March to 14 March 2024 (From 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM). The required documents list and MIST Admission 2024 schedule based on merit order are provided below. Before coming to MIST for admission, candidates must complete the pre-registration formalities.

Admission Process

Medical Check-up:

Selected civil candidates provisionally must undergo a medical check-up at the MIST medical centre. They need to provide urine, blood, and blood grouping test reports. The MIST medical authority will decide if candidates are physically fit for admission.

Admission:

Candidates finally selected for admission must follow these rules:

• Complete admission formalities within a fixed period.

• Failure to complete admission formalities within the prescribed time will result in the selection cancellation.

• Waiting lists will be prepared based on merit.

• Failure to attend classes within two weeks of the program’s commencement will result in admission cancellation and fee forfeiture.

Documents to be submitted during admission:

• Original copies of SSC and equivalent certificates and mark sheets

• Original copies of HSC and equivalent certificates and mark sheets

• Three recent passport-sized colored photographs attested by a class-I gazetted officer

• Character certificate from the head of the last institution

• Nationality certificate or Birth certificate or National ID Card

Department Allotment

Departments will be allotted based on individual merit positions in the admission test against total vacancies. Individual department choices will be given preference as far as possible.

Guardian’s Consent

Selected civil candidates and their parents or guardians must provide a consent certificate in the admission form, accepting terms and conditions formulated by the MIST authority.

Cancellation of Admission/Academic Process

Admission will be cancelled if incomplete/false information is found, or candidates/students fail a drug test at any stage of the admission/academic process.
