Rajshahi University Admission Result 2024 – Subject Choice

The Rajshahi University Admission Circular 2024 is out. To apply for RU Admission for 2023-2024, visit the admission.ru.ac.bd website. All admission-related activities will happen on this official site. Each unit of Rajshahi University will have a separate admission test in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Around 72,000 applicants will get the chance to take the admission test for each unit. The RU Shortlist will be based on the results of the HSC and equivalent exams.

Once the eligible candidates list is published, final applications will be accepted. During the specified period, applicants can download their admit cards, which are essential for participating in the exam. The admit card will contain details like the Admission Test Date, time, and other important information.

Before the Rajshahi University Admission test for each unit, a detailed seat plan will be published. After the test, the admission test result will also be made public. 

Rajshahi University, a public university in Bangladesh, has various units and departments for the undergraduate program. A-Unit is for the Faculty of Arts and Fine Arts, Faculty of Business Studies, and Institute of Business Administration; B-Unit is for the Faculty of Science and Engineering; C-Unit is for the Faculty of Biology and Geology.

RU Admission 2023-24

• You can start applying on 8 January 2024.
• The last day to submit your preliminary application is 17 January 2024.
• Check if you’re eligible on 25 January 2024.
• The final application period begins on 26 January 2024.

Admission Eligibilities

To apply for admission to Rajshahi University, the candidate needs certain qualifications. However, for the most current information, you should check the detailed admission circular for the 2023-24 academic year, which will be available after publication. The eligibility criteria for Rajshahi Univeristy Admission 2023-2024 are not expected to change.

• SSC or Equivalent Passing Year: 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021
• HSC Passing Year: 2023 or 2022
• Total GPA: 7.00 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.00 in each of SSC and HSC from the Humanities Group.
• Total GPA: 7.50 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.50 in each of SSC and HSC from the Business Studies Group.
• Total GPA: 8.00 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.50 in each of SSC and HSC from the Science Group.

GPA will be calculated with the fourth subject(s).

Primary Application

Students need to apply online for Preliminary Application. First, visit admission.ru.ac.bd to fill out the application form. After that, go to the Online Admission. After completing the form, pay the fee using mobile banking.

Payment Instruction

• Dial *322#.
• Choose 1 for bill pay.
• Select 2 for others.
• Enter the recipient’s rocket account number.
• Provide the biller ID given by the authority.
• Enter the fee amount.
• Confirm the payment with your PIN.
• You can apply for the RU admission final test if you are selected in the chosen list.

RU Primary Application Result 2024

The Rajshahi University has released the Eligible List Result 2024. You can check the Rajshahi University Primary Application Result 2024 on the admission.ru.ac.bd website for all Groups and Units. The RU Admission Short List 2024 was published on 25 January 2024, for eligible candidates. The Eligible List for A, B, and C Units has been published. Only eligible candidates will have the chance to fill out the Final Admission Form.

The shortlist is based on the preliminary application to RU. Not all students can take part in the Admission Test 2023-24, only those who are shortlisted. If you are on the final list, you can apply for the admission test. Rajshahi University released the Short List for Admission in 2024 on 25 January 2024. The RU Primary Application Result 2024 includes eligible candidates for A, B, and C units. Only those who are on this list can fill out the Final Admission Form. The shortlist is based on the Preliminary Application of RU, and not all students can participate in the Admission Test. Only the shortlisted students can apply for the Final Admission Form and take the admission test.

The selected candidates need to fill out the Final Application Form from 26 January 2024, starting at noon, until January 29, 2024. If any selected candidates miss this deadline, they can apply from the waiting list, which will be done in three phases. Admit cards can only be downloaded by those who have completed the final application.

The Eligible List for Rajshahi University in 2024 was published on January 25, 2024. Candidates on this list will receive SMS notifications. The RU Short List for the Admission Test can also be checked on the Admissions website https://application.ru.ac.bd/.

From February 19, 2024, to February 22, 2024, final applicants can download their admit cards. The admit card will contain information about the admission test date and other details. The Rajshahi University Admission test is scheduled to take place from March 5 to March 7, 2024.

Final Application

After Publishing the Eligible Candidates list, the Final Application will be Started. Only Eligible Candidates can fill out the Final Admission Form. During the Final Application, Candidates must pay Tk.1100 taka for each unit. The final Application will be accepted in a few steps.

Here are the phases and dates for the final application:

• 1st Phase: 26 January 2024, to 29 January 2024
• 2nd Phase: 1 February 2024 to 3 February 2024
• 3rd Phase: 6-7 February 2024
• 4th Phase: 10-11 February 2024
• Final application fee 1100 tk.

Rajshahi University Admit Card 2024

The Rajshahi University Admit Card 2024 is out. It’s available for A, B, and C Units for the Admission Test 2023-24. You can get the RU Admission Test Admit Card from admission.ru.ac.bd. Only final applicants can download it, and the download period is from February 19 to February 22, 2024. However, the Rajshahi University Admit Card Download will start again on 3rd March 2024. Use your SSC and HSC information to log in and download the admit card.

Around 45,000 candidates from each unit will participate in the admission test. The list of eligible candidates is already out, and final applicants can now download their admit cards.

Remember, you can’t join the Admission Test 2023-24 without the RU Admit Card. The test is scheduled from March 5 to March 7, 2024. To get your RU Admission Admit Card 2024, go to admission.ru.ac.bd or log in at https://application.ru.ac.bd/ with your HSC and SSC details.

Admission Test Marks Distribution

The information about how marks are given for the Rajshahi University Admission Test is provided below. Keep in mind that the marks distribution may change based on the unit. Since the HSC Result 2024 is being published, the admission test’s type and mark distribution may also change. You can find the updated details in the admission circular for this year. However, the question pattern for the Rajshahi University Admission Test is expected to remain mostly the same. You can refer to last year’s marks distribution for guidance.

Usually, the university announces the seat locations a few days before the admission test for each unit. Rajshahi University Admission Result 2024

The Rajshahi University Admission Result 2024 is available on the website admission.ru.ac.bd. The results for A Unit were published on 13 March, on the ru.ac.bd result website. Earlier, the RU B Unit Admission Result 2024 was released on 13 March and the RU C Unit Admission Result 2024 was released on 11 March 2024. After this, the subject allocation result will be shared. The admission process begins after the interviews. Once admissions from the merit list are done, those from the waiting list will be processed gradually. The entire admission process is expected to be finished by May 2024.

Classes for undergraduate programs are anticipated to start around June 2024, for the academic session 2023-24.
